Cider Week is Happening: Here's How To Get in on the Action
The weather has finally turned and it would appear we’re in full-fledged fall mode. In addition to breaking out the sweaters, a time-honored fall tradition is cracking open a refreshing bottle of hard cider. From Bold Rock to Red’s Apple Ale there is a variety of autumnal beverages to wet your whistle. But if you’re a hardo for hard cider you might be looking to take the obsession to the next level.
I give you Cider Week.
From November 11-20 spots all over Virginia and DC are teaming up for a cider revival. To me, this sounds like some anarchist alcoholic movement. By apparently it just means special events, tastings, dinners, pairings, classes, etc.
You can get in on the action locally at Food.Bar.Food where they’ll be serving an Old Hill Cider cocktail.
